fees
last updated october 5, 2026
one simple trading fee: 1% of every trade, paid in SOL. every fee buys back and burns $PWF, the main token. creators pay only what their launch really costs on chain.
trading
| fee | amount | how it works |
|---|---|---|
| platform fee (buy) | 1% | added on top of the SOL you spend: buying 1 SOL of a coin costs 1.01 SOL, like 2024. |
| platform fee (sell) | 1% | taken from the SOL the pool pays you, using the quoted amount. |
| pool fee | 0.01% | the Meteora pool's own lp fee (its minimum). the locked position is ours; the fee is claimed in SOL and goes to the buyback too. |
| network fee | ~0.00002+ SOL | Solana's signature fees, the priority fee you pick in the trade settings and a small tip to the transaction sender (bigger with front-running protection on). paid to the network, not to us. |
| token account rent | ~0.00204 SOL | your first buy of a coin opens a token account. the rent is a deposit, not a fee: selling 100% closes the account and returns it. sells also open and close a temporary wrapped-SOL account in the same transaction. |
the platform fee is a plain SOL transfer inside your trade transaction, shown before you sign. the trade page estimate includes it.
launching a coin
- the creator pays the real cost of the launch: rent for the mint, its metadata, the pool, its vaults and the locked position, plus network fees, about 0.04 SOL. the create page shows the exact figure before you sign.
- launch fee: none.
- an optional first buy pays the normal trading fee.
where the fees go
- trade fees land in a few fee wallets (spread out so busy trading never queues on one account).
- a buyback worker sweeps them into the treasury.
- every few minutes, once enough has built up, it swaps SOL to PUMP, buys $PWF with it and burns exactly what it bought.
- every run, with its transactions, is public on [burns].
the main token ($PWF)
$PWF is a pump.fun coin quoted in PUMP, launched separately from the coins on this site. each $PWF trade pays pump.fun's fees: 0.95% protocol and a 1.5% creator fee. the creator fee is split 50 / 50 on chain by pump.fun fee sharing, locked at launch:
- 0.75% to the treasury, which buys back and burns $PWF (the PUMP is spent directly, never swapped to SOL and back);
- 0.75% to the development fund.
